Hello,

I have problems to install the VO sp3 on Windows 7 Pro 32 bit NL, this is
what I have done:

Clean install Windows7 Pro
Install VO2.8 and the sp1
Run VO sp1: no problem
load a project in VO sp1 :no problem
Install sp3: no problem
Then run VO sp3

Following errors appear:

The project directory "C:\Program Files\cavo28\Data\" does not have
a valid application catalog (_CATALOG.VO).
Should the system try to recreate that catalog ?

(of course)

ADAM: Error rebuilding application catalog
Error creating Application Table

When I reindex the Project, VO is not responding

any idea of this ?

Thanks

IIRC your not supposed to run VO BEFORE installing all the patches, at least
that was what was required in VO2.5/6 and probably V2.7

No idea if that's what your supposed to do with V2.8 - read the install docs
for each patch

I have installed VO 2.8 SP3 an Windows 7 Pro and Utimate without any
problem.

I installed in following order
1. Vo 2.7b and the updates
2. Vo 2.8 original vom CD
3. 2.8 SP2 patch
4. 2.8 SP3 patch

and then Import the AEFs

No issues here either.
I would say reinstall VO28 and directly SP3 over it.

Hello,

I have reinstall VO2.8, sp1 and sp3.

When I start VO as administrator then it works correctly (right mouse
button choose: "Run as administrator")
My account has also admin rights.

There is an option in Windows ....... I thought.

Idea ?

Thanks !

regards

Jo
