Not being familiar with the complete Win 7, I
figure that the OS has been stripped down -
limited. I don't know what's missing and I'm
curious to know if anyone knows just what was
removed. I can't imagine M$ giving away the
complete Win 7 OS with NetBooks.

"So which netbooks will come preloaded with Windows 7 Starter, and which
will receive Home Premium? - That's up to the OEM. If there are any
secret hardware requirements, Microsoft isn't divulging them, and it
says that any negotiations between itself and its OEMs are confidential."

http://peek.snipr.com/zwbr7 - Windows 7 Team Blog - what it means to
have this edition of Windows 7 running on a small notebook PC (a.k.a. a
netbook). - Windows 7 Starter does not include: <list follows>

Thank you Mike for enlightening me. I was puzzled
about what was ripped out.
Now I have more information that will keep me out
of trouble for a while :-)

Did you determine if your Win7 is Starter or Home Premium?

My first interpretation of the Subject as reading : -

"Versions of Ffox and Tbird than can work in Win 7 ( 'comma' or 'are')
limited ?"
