I'm in the silly situation of being determined to buy a Magic Mouse, despite
the fact that I'm betting my sanity [twitch] that Apple will sooner or later
realease a software update that will allow Expose via a gesture.

That's me too. Blind faith that it is susceptible to software update.

All we need is one more on the day and we'll have a nursery rhyme for
that.

Heck, even if they just let us re-programme the left and right swipes to
trigger Expose and Dashboard instead of forwards/backwards in Safari, that's
me happy. In fact I wouldn't be surprised to see a 3rd party hack for it
within a month.
