Ideal for audio but TI Europe only wanted to sell 16 bit ( inadequate without using a compiler to do double precision ) and 32 bit ( too expensive ) parts and the 57020 officially didn't exist outside Asia. I've seen both that and clearly another family member in various audio effects processing gear. I got a datasheet in the end from a Chinese outfit. Graham
