I know this is a very elementary question to most of you but how does
one download and make DVD copies of movies on a Mac? What software is
required, such as Toast? And what is a good web site for acquiring
movies?

Almost everything is wrong with respect to copyright law at the moment.

Unjust laws *SHOULD* be broken until the legislators change them. This
is called `protest by civil disobedience'.

Hell, now that it's big commercial operations making all the money from
copyrights, they've even *criminalized* some aspects of copyright
breaking. Before the globalised copyright thieves like Sony and the
other publishers got their demands met, when it was only the creators
who really care about copyright, it was only a civil offence to break
copyright.

But now, there are ways of going to prison for certain forms of
copyright breaking.

- now that it's the big firms that think they'll suffer from it, rather
than just the creators.

It's disgusting.
