iPhone is Apple version of a Combination Phone and Music Video player
(SmartPhone).
iTouch has all the capability above except the phone part. But is wi-fi
capable and can use the internet.

The iPad in its present in carnation is basically a iTouch on steroids
its about 5-6 times the size of an iTouch. The versions coming out as
3g/4g capable at the end of the month by having wi-fi and 3G/4G built in
would appear to have Cell phone Abilities as well.

with a compass and the 3g model will have a gps.

they will only have a data connection. you can't make a phone call on
them other than via skype or similar.

Wow, does this whole discussion not make sense. You have a computer!
There is no need to break music into pages. It can also keep time, so
there is no reason you should need to tell it when to advance. At the
*worst* (or perhaps best, if there are pieces with allowances for
variable timing) use the sound input to detect the notes that are
actually getting played and have the software automatically follow along
with the musician.

No, "iPod touch" is the official name, but "iTouch" is a common
nickname.

You won't regret it (I don't).
