From: erilar on 8 Apr 2010 19:33 I've been trying to figure out how to put multiple pages of music into a ..pdf without buying a fancy Adobe whatever. I can save as .pdf with my print program, but the only way I can put multiple pages of music together is to paste them as .jpeg into AppleWorks and shrink them, which is a lot of work. It does work, however. Someone here must know a better way that I don't have to buy something fancy for, I hope. -- Erilar, biblioholic medievalist http://www.mosaictelecom.com/~erilarlo

Well, the Preview Help file provides instructions for "Copying pages from one PDF document to another." Having said that, the instructions do seem a bit confusing, and I've had hit-and-miss results following them (I quickly opt to use Adobe Acrobat, an app I've had for years, courtesy of Adobe). -- iMac (27", 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD) OS X (10.6.3)

It does work, however. PDFLab can do what you want. http://www.iconus.ch/fabien/products/pleng/pleng.html There's a PayPal button on the page, so there may be a cost after you try it. I can't find a price on the page, so I have no idea if you can pick your price or if the price shows up in some nag box after you use it. I've had it on my machine for long enough, I can't recall what (if) I paid. It's done what I've needed and it's quite simple to use. -- Larry Moss, http://www.airigami.com PO Box 23523, Rochester, NY 14692, (585) 359-8695 Airigami: The fine art of folding air.

Ah, yes. I missed that. It still works for me. :-) I thought, as far back as Snow Leopard's release, that I was going to get around to buying a new machine. Figured I'd upgrade when I got new hardware. That day just hasn't come yet. -- Larry Moss, http://www.airigami.com PO Box 23523, Rochester, NY 14692, (585) 359-8695 Airigami: The fine art of folding air. |
