The iPad's thinness comes at a cost.

Good points all, I received my iPad on 3 April and it does what I had hoped for and more to tell the truth. I wanted something to carry on short trips to use as a reader, checking mail and keeping up with the ball games. It does all that and very well I might add. The reader for books and newspapers is very good. I believe each of us should get what we think is best for us and do so with out all the knocking other for what they want something this group seems to forget some times hell a lot of sometimes.

I would think the value of an iPad depents on the person that is buying it...just a thought.

Thank you very much that's what I have been trying to get accross.

The problem with this is: *This* group is COLA And it is invaded by filthy scum from Mac newsgroups each and every time apple brings something new. Cretins like OxFord, Snit and Znu know fully well that linux users in general are not that impressed and certainly at best only mildly interested in stuff from apple The fanboiz and cargo cultists from apple groups feel so incredibly insecure about their choice that they constantly have to harrass people who knowingly and with their very own reasons have decided that apple is not for them Especially not crappy devices like the iPad -- Meddle not in the affairs of Dragons, For thou art crunchy, and good with ketchup! |
