"Over a month of standby". What does *that* mean? Why would you
leave it in standby instead of having it turn on instantly. Is it
expecting to receive phone calls or data?

But actually trying to type onto that virtual keyboard is going to be
like trying to type on a ZX-81. Potentially ghastly.

So I wonder if it can run a power station too?

Worse. Definitely worse. At least you could feel the keys on a ZX-81

Umm, 3G, WiFi, special deal with AT&T for cheap access, can run all the
iPhone Apps as well as enhanved versions of its own, iWork available at
$10 per application, prices start from $499, not available in Europe
until July, it seems.

Accessories of hinted at excellence and shinyness.

Hmm $499 FOR 16GB, 32Gb for $599, 64GB for $699 add $130 for 3G
connectivity. That last seems a bit steep.
