Yes, I had the same daft thing about faxing. I actually challenged it -
I emailed scanned copies of the appropriate documents to them and they
responded saying "no, it has to be faxed to this number. Take it or
leave it". That's how it is when you have a monopoly I suppose.
Irritating and gives Apple a bad name.

I was tempted to leave it and join under my personal name, but for a
variety of reasons it made more sense to join as my company, so I bit
the bullet. Only took a couple of days to complete the whole process.
Then, of course, you have the joy of creating ProvisioningProfiles for
your applications. I'll leave you to discover that particular pleasure
for yourself.

BTW there is a chapter in my book on setting up your iPhone Developer
account, creating your certificate and ProvisioningProfile and so on.

Regards,

Ian.

<cough>

Faxtastic.

Print the document or scan it to PDF, email the PDf to faxtastic they
fax it to the recipient. They also provide an incoming fax number if
your ISP doesn't already provide you with one for free.

Quite why sending a scanned document to a service to be forwarded to
Apple would make it more legally binding is something that the Merkins
can be left to puzzle over.

I didn't know about that service - thanks.

I've been using them ever since my Philips Crystal Fax decided to
spontaneously combust. They have never failed to deliver a fax, provided
that I make sure to set the sending email address to the correct
details. I use my ISP's Fax to Mail Gateway for incoming.
