That is what I read on the web, but I can't find anywhere on companies
house to download - I just found the bit where it was �15 to have it
sent. Is there a link anywhere?

Find your company and go the page by clicking on the company number.

Click on the 'Order information on this company' .

Select the 'CERTIFICATE OF INCORPORATION' choice at the bottom of the
list and hit 'Add to order'.

Taa - should have looked there, I just looked on the price list section.

Duly downloaded, stuck in acrobat, trimmed to the relevant 4 pages,
covering letter added to the front, copied to the tablet (the only
movable thing with a modem), fax set up and sent. Took a couple of
minutes to send 80k worth of documents - isn't old fashioned technology
wonderful!

Now just sit and wait I guess.

UK law says the same thing. A fax usually has the same legal status
as the original.

Why did you need to send four pages? Thought the Certificate of
Incorporation is just a single page?
