Also, under the new law, by then many here might have had their internet connections terminated, after being emailed three times about alleged apparent copyright infringing downloads.

Ads in your apps are going to be coming to you soon.. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/04/08/iphone_4_dot_0/ Jobs promised that the iAd platform, the client side of which is built inside iPhone OS 4.0, will allow developers to create ads that combine the interactivity of standard web ads with the "emotion" provided by television ads. -- Conor I'm not prejudiced. I hate everyone equally.

I really hope this doesn't pose serious accessibility problems. For instance, imagine viewing a page, that page gets refreshed into an ad and VO shoots you right back to the top, losing your place on the original page. I hate it when this happens on a normal mac, on an iphone i'll want to sling it because there is no way to seartch a webpage with VO, mark an area that's important to you as with the mac edition.

The Register link above says "the iAd platform allows developers to embed ads inside their apps as they see fit. Clicking on an iAd link won't close the app, but instead launch the iAd, which can then take over the device's UI. You return to the app from which the iAd was launched - which maintains the state in which you left it - by clicking an "X" icon in the top left of the display." which seems reasonable enough as long as VO also returns to its original state.
