$30 for a single license.
Been using it for years. Works great. Add pages, delete pages, add a whole file
and then delete the pages you don't want.....it does it all.

Thank you! I think I'm going to try this out. I've tried following the
suggestions about using Preview and it doesn't work at all. When I
tried to save a group of things I had opened in Preview as a single
..pdf, all it put into the .pdf was the one first in line; the rest were
ignored. Pasting a combination of text(lyrics only) and .jpg(sheet
music) into the only program I have that will give me sequential pages
in a single document, my word processor, is a major pain 8-(

A subsequent posting indicated that this didn't work for you. Since I
use it quite often, it seems likely that I screwed up the directions, as
I was working from memory.

I have prepared a short set of instructions with screen captures of the
steps should you care to try again. They can be found at:

Don't mean to throw cold water on this or any of the other helpful
low-cost solutions that have been proposed -- but for not too much more
money you can acquire whatever is currently the lowest-end version of
Adobe Acrobat.

Primary benefit of doing this is that you acquire a considerably larger
toolbox of tools for working with PDF files; primary downsides (besides
cost) are that you have to learn to use this more complex toolset
(although I've generally found Acrobat to be a pretty friendly
application) and in my setup at least Acrobat is horribly slow in
Quitting or shutting down -- it causes any system Restart or Shut Down
that I initiate to time out before completion, unless I deliberately
Quit Acrobat first.

Except for Reader, the low-end price I find for AA is almost $100
dollars.

I'd just like to be able to pluck a page or two out of a .pdf now and
then and slap together a few of my own. No high-end stuff.
