Or you're using an old version of Preview, or you have the preferences set to open each image in its own window. If you can't get it to work in Preview, try GraphicConverter's "Print Folder" command. It prints all the image files in a folder, one per page. (There's also a Print Catalog command which prints several images per page.) Combine that with the print dialog's Save as PDF option and you'll get a multi-page PDF. The only thing disabled in demo mode is the batch feature, and it doesn't expire. <http://www.lemkesoft.com/>

If you modify the first step, the rest will work. Any mix of image types Preview can open, appears to work. I tried a mix of GIF, JPG, TIF, and PDF. 1. Open the first image in Preview. 2. At the top right, click on the >> icon and select "Show Sidebar". 3. Drag subsequent images in the correct order onto the sidebar. 4. Select all pages by shift-clicking the first and last image (or each image individually). 5. From the File menu, choose "Print Selected Images". 6. Using the PDF button, select "Save as PDF". Fred

Sooner or later one is, I hope, going to work 8-) -- Erilar, biblioholic medievalist http://www.mosaictelecom.com/~erilarlo
