No kidding. Practically the same as a browser hijack, istm. For myself,
I usually wait a few days for any patch fall out, but in this case, it
wouldn't have mattered. "Search enhancement " from MS would make me run
the other way.

Hmm, which version of MS OS? I had 16 patches offered (and installed) on
Win XP Pro yesterday, but the above was not among them.

Same here on Vista. Neither IE or Firefox had add on installed, or update
offered.
