Thanks Steve. I picked up some good stuff from your other post. I will
need time to see if there is enough in common between the two. I
imagine the paper path procedures will have much in common.

In case the pdf is really easy to mail, my cryptic demunging advice in
my sig (it's a teco command, back when everyone on c.o.v and a.f.c knew
enough teco to be dangerous) is to replace nospam with elliott

Otherwise, hang on to it till you hear another cry of pain.
Thanks again.

s/onething/another/g

Is less scarifying.

The PDF is 5Mb which seems a bit large for email. I have another
solution and I will forward mail in due course.

Thanks all. It looks like the 8560N is worth serious consideration, but
I either need to spring for the additional warranty or learn the
maintenance routines. Probably the former if I'm honest - I'm not good
with my hands (ooh-er missus).

Yes, back then it seemed interesting. But by now having read all of the
unsolicited advice I have to sling my wedding tackle over my shoulder,
my car's petrol tank needs baling out every two days because of all the
petrol saving devices I fitted and my twenty three Russian wives make
insatiable demands. Mr Ogodu is very nice though, he's got a business
venture that might help me to support the wives. All I have to do is
open a bank account in the name of his unfortunately deceased
relative...

What a nice man, I've heard many good things about him. In fact a friend
of mine flew out to Nigeria to hand over the deposit in person. We were
all getting worried when he'd been gone for over a month, but (phew!)
now his wife tells me that Mr Ogudo has emailed to explain that they've
lost his return ticket home and that if she will kindly send the money
for a replacement plus the costs of his 5-star hotel he will soon be
back in the bosom of his family. What a relief! I can't wait to see the
pictures.
