It feels like there's been a shift in policy - the Mac Mini used to be the Mac you got if you wanted to dip your toe in the Apple universe but didn't want to mortgage your children in order to do so. Now that role seems to be being filled by the iPod touch/iPhone/iPad (not exactly cheap either) which means the Mini is just...a small form factor Mac. I wish they'd do a 399UKP Mini.
