I thought it applied to anything with electronic components, but maybe
they've changed the rules - it's been a long while since I've imported
anything.

Last time I did this in more earnest I'm sure I found that computers
are indeed zero-rated on import duty, but buggered if I can find out
anything at all useful off HMRC's website now, so best to assume 5%...
