Dark matter is displaced by matter.

Maxwell's displacement current is a displacement of dark matter.

Dark matter is not at rest when displaced by matter.
Dark matter displaced by matter exerts pressure towards the matter.
Pressure exerted by displaced dark matter towards matter is gravity.

You can over complicate the above if you choose. All that will do is
make you incorrect.

Correct. Energy is a change in state of matter; whether it be matter
or dark matter. Matter and dark matter have mass.

Correct. There is no place nor any part of three dimensional space
devoid of mass. For space devoid of mass is a void and properties can
not be ascribed to a void.
