From: Peter Ceresole on 18 Jul 2010 03:06 I have a Palm data file on which I want to change some things. Get info tells me that I have read and write access, and that 'staff' has read only, 'everyone' has read only too. This turns out to be a pain in the bum, and I'd like to make then read & write. How do I do this? Short of the workaround which is to open it in TextEdit, change something, save and quit. I guess what I'm looking for is some file altering utility. In the ancient days I could use Resedit... -- Peter

If you click on the bit that says 'Read only' you shold get a dropdpwn menu. You -may- have to click the padlock in the lower right first.
