can the onboard flash be used to store parameters?
Hello, We have C6713 DSK from TI. Is it possible to store paramters to flash memory (256 KB onboard) so that i could retrive the same, when i run another program? I am utilizing this board for speech recognition project and want to store the speech templates generated during training ... 22 Mar 2010 18:02
Windowing problem before LPC
Why window the signal before computing LPC coefficients? What is the whys of windowing? I know windowing can prevent spectrum leakage, but LPC is none of business of FFT, so it has no spectrum leakage. Any comments would be appreciated! ... 17 Mar 2010 21:10
Highest throughput FFT implementation in hardware
Can anyone talk on the state of the art FFT implementations in hardware --- ASIC, IP cores etc. -- in terms of throughput? We are looking for something in excess of 5G. Thanks. ... 21 Mar 2010 00:26
Generating negative harmonics
Hi there, using waveshaping we can generate odd harmonics, right? Using some tricks like adding square we can have even harmonics. Is there a way to get negative harmonics? E.g. Sampling rate 44100, someone feeds it with 1kHz, I want to get 500Hz, or 250Hz for example. I have no idea if it isn't completely useless... 22 Mar 2010 16:47

Normalised Cross-correlation FFT
Hi, I have implemented cross-correlation using FFT's. Is it possible to to normalised cross-correlation with FFT's? If so, how? Sorry if it is a basic question - but I haven't found a solution. Thanks in advance.. ... 18 Mar 2010 14:18
Fast RLS Help
I'm trying to implement a fast transversal RLS algorithm and want it to for now simply associate a binary input vector with a desired value. For example x = [1 0 1 1 0] with d = 10, and then get the desired value out later by op = x' * w. I'm able to get this to work easily with the conventional RLS algorithm, b... 7 Apr 2010 13:28

Name That Topology
Hey y'all -- So I've been working with some filter topologies trying to do programmable low-pass filtering over a 100,000:1 Fc range in a single stage, no pre-decimation. (That's unfortunately non-negotiable for reasons above my control). The second order sections that I'm using are basically derived as digi... 15 Mar 2010 19:27
