That's what news.software.readers if for. You just start the subject
with [Unison] and whatever you want to talk about and compose and post.
For example:

[Unison] Filters really suck in version 2.0

I like your dedication. Unison doesn't have all the bells and whistles
of Thoth or MT-Newswatcher for Filtering, personalities support, etc.
But for binaries it can't be beat.

But personally I can't stand Yahoo Groups. You might have been better
off setting up a Google Group. While Google Groupers is a blight on
Usenet, as a web-based forum for OTHER uses, it's not bad.

Excellent idea - a web forum for a Usenet client :-D Pity it's still
such a simple app.

If you used a client with decent filtering (GGs has NONE) you'd be able
to see at a glance all posts pertaining to Unison, provided people
include it's name spelt correctly in the subject of their posts (which
they should do if they want people to read their post. Likewise posts on
any topic - put it in the subject line. I simply ignore posts with a
subject that tells me zilch about it's content). I do that for "MacSOUP"
using MacSOUP's filtering and it works very well.

We're in a topic about a newsreader. So far nobody has brought Brian
Clark yet, but when we do this thread will be a mess.

I agree Yahoo is a total nuisance. I think the only utility in having
dedicated groups outside usenet is that you can be totally assured what
everybody is concerned about there. A message about some minor aspect
(to others) of Unison would be lost here, I imagine.

In the meantime anyone can start a unison-related topic.

You're paying for stolen goods, etc, etc.

It's boring by now.
