My bad, it's was a nag screen that reminded you to register. There was
also a post that gave instruction on how to get rid of it in another
newsgroup using a hex editor.

The hazards of using a registry cleaner far, far outweigh any benefits.

In fact, since the benefit of using a registry cleaner, even if successful,
is zero, scratching your naught-bits with a salad fork is better than using
a registry cleaner.

In sum, you are weighing the risk of catastrophic failure against no
beneficial result. Sort of like hanging-eleven on the edge of the abyss.

For those that want to try Vit Registry Fix Free Edition, make sure you
follow the screenshots & particularly number 5, which you use until
eventually it shows 0 errors.

It works on Vista & Windows 7.
