The hazards of using a registry cleaner far, far outweigh any benefits. In fact, since the benefit of using a registry cleaner, even if successful, is zero, scratching your naught-bits with a salad fork is better than using a registry cleaner. In sum, you are weighing the risk of catastrophic failure against no beneficial result. Sort of like hanging-eleven on the edge of the abyss.
