Posted in alt os winxp but no answer there as yet, Here is a possible cause & how to check a specifc group of registry entries manually. If you have a registry program that does it, if not use this one. What you will be looking for is an entry that shows -1 & then change it to 1. RegSeeker http://www.snapfiles.com/get/regseeker.html http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm Open RegSeeker, click on > Find in registry. All you need ticked in the HKEY section is > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE In Search for: paste > DisplayIcon & do a search. POKO formulated on Monday : Opp's, corrected info. "If you have a registry program that does it, if not use this one. What you will be looking for is an entry that shows -1 & then change it to 1." Should be. If you have a registry program that does it, if not use this one. What you will be looking for is an entry that shows a 0 or -1 & then change it to 1. |
