If you have 2nd computer to practice on ( I find a 2nd comp very handy for all sorts of reasons, it's just a 6 or 7 year old that was given to me ) here is how to get your confidence up. Full knowledge of NT would bring unseen performance! I am pretty sure there is a lot more to remove. Depending to your needs... I remember a time when I removed any entries (e.g. in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services), with which I was to be allowed to remove them surely. E.g. hardware entries I don't have. But... read the beginning of the paragraph :). Sigh... NT makes it so easy to you, but can have it depths.... still to investigate ;-) Disabling uneeded services, looking for (the many) checkmarks in various apps, settings at all, etc., brings a good overall performance and is easy to do for an intermediate user. -- Daniel Mandic

Indeed, you are! P.S.: Blank space? I met the case that I have lost the uninstaller, but the add/remove entry was still named, so that you can find it in the registry and remove the relevant entries there. -- Daniel Mandic
