Nice work POKO, I was going to see if you wanted to phone me in Western
Australia, if you did'nt crack it with that last set of instructions.

To make sure all the registry entries are removed by Revo, I always use >
Advanced mode.

Run Vit again & Defrag.

I use this version of Auslogics.

If you have 2nd computer to practice on ( I find a 2nd comp very handy
for all sorts of reasons, it's just a 6 or 7 year old that was given to
me ) here is how to get your confidence up.

Hi!

I suffer the same :). However, the registry is surely smaller
afterwards.

Full knowledge of NT would bring unseen performance!
I am pretty sure there is a lot more to remove. Depending to your
needs...
I remember a time when I removed any entries (e.g. in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services), with which I was
to be allowed to remove them surely. E.g. hardware entries I don't have.
But... read the beginning of the paragraph :). Sigh... NT makes it so
easy to you, but can have it depths.... still to investigate ;-)

Disabling uneeded services, looking for (the many) checkmarks in
various apps, settings at all, etc., brings a good overall performance
and is easy to do for an intermediate user.

you think you are an ACF chap....!?

Indeed, you are!

P.S.: Blank space? I met the case that I have lost the uninstaller, but
the add/remove entry was still named, so that you can find it in the
registry and remove the relevant entries there.

Linux is the only choice beside Wintels or\and Mac's Pear,
if you need full internet compatibility (candies).
