Decided to try to see if it would "compact" my Add/Remove applet list in
Control Panel - I have a large gaping black empty space in it. The
cleaner found 1611 errors but did not fix the add/remove problem. Any
ideas gang?

Never seen an ad on this program. It does ask you to register,
so I did, with ollydbg.
If you don't use ollydbg, registration is free, via throw-away
email.

I've been using Registry Mechanic for a long time and they have a
registry compact feature - it didn't address it so maybe it has nothing
to do with the registry - I dunno,
