From: bassam king karzeddin on 3 May 2007 05:06 Pythagorean Theorem I would like to make a quick review to the most important theorem in the history of mankind hoping to convey the concept of my general theorem that shows you where the Pythagorean theorem it self belong, and where it does stay It took the mankind millions of years to discover positive integers numbers and learn how to count mainly from his own fingers It took another hundreds of thousands years or may be few millions of years to be noted by very few or may be one of this kind and mainly from the hand fingers that (All the three fingers of three people with all the four fingers of another four people will be the same as all the five fingers of other five people and that was a break through, but the theorem was still too far) After many tens of thousands of years when mankind learned how to make a simple drawing, like lines, triangles, shapes very few or may be one only noted that a triangle of (3, 4, 5) unit sides, would form an orthogonal triangle Thousands of years later one have noticed that (3, 4, 5) triangle which means that the area of the square on the longest side is the same area on the other squares made on the other sides together, but still they were few thousand years away from the general conjecture concerning the right angle triangle Finally Pythagoras came and conjectured the main idea theorem about ALL the right angle triangles and I don't know how many centuries it took to prove it Since then it was an established fact in our little knowledge, despite it is perpetual fact even we still don't know about it, Many thousands of tons of books, conferences, millions of degrees on branch results, illustrations, coloring, applications, ...etc, but FRANKLY speaking they hardly add or subtract any thing to the soul theorem it self and of course they will not . What I had been working for many years was about the most general theorem where Pythagorean theorem it self belong and I could obtain the POWER OF TRIANGLE CONCEPT according to my own vision and not yours as the following: It also related to Fermats Last Theorem and much more ... if you study it carefully in positive integers Here it is: For any triangle of positive, distinct, INTEGER SIDES (L>M>S), there exists a positive real number (P>=1), such that the following equation holds true always S^P + M^P = L^P SOLUTION: for obtaining (P) from the given sides of any triangle Let, x = Ln (S / M) / Ln (S / L), Where Ln is the natural logarithm to the base (e=2.718281828...) Let, K (x) be a series function of x defined as below: K (x) = (1-x)*{1+(3x/2-1)+(2x-1)*(4x/3-1) +(5x/2-1)*(5x/3-1)*(5x/4-1) +(3x-1)*(2x-1)*(3x/2-1)*(6x/5-1) +(7x/2-1)*(7x/3-1)*(7x/4-1)*(7x/5-1)*(7x/6-1) +...}. Note that the general nTH Term of the series will be: (1-x)*(n*x/2 -1)*(n*x/3 -1)*(n*x/4 -1)*...(n*x/(n-1) -1) the power of the triangle (P) can be obtained then from my following formula. P = Ln (K (x))/Ln (S/L) There are many & very interesting facts about this formula, that I may report them later. And, You will never find a counter example, because I have proved it. You may note that (p=2), for any assumed right angle triangle, and (P=1) for any assumed straight-line triangle But, indeed after reviewing your main history of making knowledge, I realized now why it was too hard for them to understand it, despite being posted here before three years, and no wonder if still the world is guided and figured by people who are millions of years away from the Pythagorean theorem it self, and among mathematicians themselves they are only few who understand it and mainly due to repetition and teaching Now, I realized there are no hopes for my triangle in this centaury, I really don't blame you, and intelligent beings far away from now will get it and make it a story and an evidence of ignorance and how sciences were been made in our days, (mainly moves after awards), especially if biology and technology finds it is own way to the tiny heads. Triangle in positive integers that satisfies the following relation: S^3 + M^3 = L^3 Then he new that if such a triangle exists then the following relation must hold true always: (S +M –L) ^3 = 3*(S+M)*(L-S)*(L-M) But, he immediately concluded that wasn't possible, and after a while he generalized his theorem on the basis that if the following integer equation holds true: S^P + M^P = L^P Where P is odd prime number, then the following integer equation must hold true always (S +M –L) ^P = P*(S+M)*(L-S)*(L-M)*N But, he immediately concluded that N can't be an INTEGER NUMBER Therefore he could DARE to announce and tell his famous conjecture on a very solid proof bases, but alas who was there to listen, although He was trying to trisect the angle He was trying to double the cube He was trying to square the circle He was trying to find many things…. and who knows if he really new.
