From: bassam king karzeddin on 3 May 2007 05:06 Pythagorean Theorem I would like to make a quick review to the most important theorem in the history of mankind hoping to convey the concept of my general theorem that shows you where the Pythagorean theorem it self belong, and where it does stay It took the mankind millions of years to discover positive integers numbers and learn how to count mainly from his own fingers It took another hundreds of thousands years or may be few millions of years to be noted by very few or may be one of this kind and mainly from the hand fingers that (All the three fingers of three people with all the four fingers of another four people will be the same as all the five fingers of other five people and that was a break through, but the theorem was still too far) After many tens of thousands of years when mankind learned how to make a simple drawing, like lines, triangles, shapes very few or may be one only noted that a triangle of (3, 4, 5) unit sides, would form an orthogonal triangle Thousands of years later one have noticed that (3, 4, 5) triangle which means that the area of the square on the longest side is the same area on the other squares made on the other sides together, but still they were few thousand years away from the general conjecture concerning the right angle triangle Finally Pythagoras came and conjectured the main idea theorem about ALL the right angle triangles and I don't know how many centuries it took to prove it Since then it was an established fact in our little knowledge, despite it is perpetual fact even we still don't know about it, Many thousands of tons of books, conferences, millions of degrees on branch results, illustrations, coloring, applications, ...etc, but FRANKLY speaking they hardly add or subtract any thing to the soul theorem it self and of course they will not . Triangle in positive integers that satisfies the following relation: S^3 + M^3 = L^3 Then he new that if such a triangle exists then the following relation must hold true always: (S +M –L) ^3 = 3*(S+M)*(L-S)*(L-M) But, he immediately concluded that wasn't possible, and after a while he generalized his theorem on the basis that if the following integer equation holds true: S^P + M^P = L^P Where P is odd prime number, then the following integer equation must hold true always (S +M –L) ^P = P*(S+M)*(L-S)*(L-M)*N But, he immediately concluded that N can't be an INTEGER NUMBER Therefore he could DARE to announce and tell his famous conjecture on a very solid proof bases, but alas who was there to listen, although He was trying to trisect the angle He was trying to double the cube He was trying to square the circle He was trying to find many things…. and who knows if he really new.
