URL display at bottom - missing On my PC I have IE7. When I get an email with an embedded link in it - like I get in say a fraudulant PayPal email - I can hover the cursor over the link and the real address appears at the bottom of the window in the status bar. can only access internet in safe mode with networking I am running XP home, SP3, Internet Explorer 8. I have a problem which was the result of some type of virus on the computer. Corrupt Internet Explorer v 7 - need a fix I ended up with a pretty significant malware attack on my XPpro machine and all is pretty much back to where it was, other than Internet Explorer 7. Windows XP and Windows Updates having problems getting downloads from Windows Update. Won't download the files it enumerates.
