Eeyore is in England. They have had to deal with the sort of folk we are talking about for quite a while now. They have done a moderately good job of it, so it appears that they already know how to do what you are suggesting they learn. > >/BAH -- -- kensmith(a)rahul.net forging knowledge

I suggest you pull out your dusty world globe and notice that it is a little spot. If you wipe out the little spot, the nearby areas will also receieve damage. Now, take a closer look at your globe. There are two important geographical features in that area. One is the Mediterranean Sea and the other is a little ditch that allows all trade between Asia and Europe to be moved cheaply. Now think just a little teensy bit more. If Iran has put Germany on its list (I had not heard that one), now you're talking about all the trade going through the Rhine (I think that the river). And it gets real close to the North Sea, it's in the heart of the EU trade, and smack dab in the between Russia and Old Europe. Now Europe is isolated, especially its fuel sources. Do I need to be more explicit w.r.t. what kinds of messes have to be prevented? Sheesh! I know nothing about military tactics and strategies and even _I_ can figure this one out. /BAH
