To Mail now it supports Exchange. I never found Entourage viable as a nntp client. I don't think there are any excellent nntp clients for Mac - MacSoup seems to be the best fit for me for what is out there.

That's the header for his newsreader. Could be what he uses for email too, though I doubt it (IIRC -- and I may be mistaken -- even the developer didn't think much of MacSOUP as an email client.) -- iMac (24", 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 320 GB HDD) OS X (10.5.8)

I don't think there are any great Newsreaders regardless of platform -- as I said before, the Newsreader isn't exactly a killer-app category that attracts a lot of developer attention. Since you are using Mail.app as well as MacSOUP, perhaps you can offer some comments, opinions, or suggestions regarding Letterbox and/or Widemail, as well as MacSOUP's manual (which was the thrust of my initial post)? -- iMac (24", 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 320 GB HDD) OS X (10.5.8) |
