How do I prevent the "Are you sure you want to open it?" message I'm using Mac 10.6.3. I've downloaded a couple of apps (i.e. Firefox) and whenever I launch them, I get the message, ""Firefox" is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?".
