iPhone moving from France to Canada? I have a friend in France who is considering buying an iPhone. It is her understanding that EU law prohibits locking phones to a particular carrier. She is also almost definitely going to relocate to Canada in perhaps a year. I have an iPod Touch 2G but know very little about the telephone part of the iPhone... 28 Mar 2010 17:52

Spotlight not searching Trash Was this changed in SL? I've reindexed Spotlight (first I tried via MainMenu (the old free version, v. 1.7.4)...but it ran a brief effort -- _too_ brief to be believable; I then did it via the Privacy window, which ran a reindexing that lasted several hours). Dictionary app accesses external drive ?s I'm trying, without any success so far, to determine the reason that my Dictionary app (OS X app) appears to access my external hard drive whenever I launch it.
