Remains the question, that if wine should steal from MS, why MS doesn't react, why MS even informs people on the issues one can have by using windows software under wine. I don't even have wine installed on my Linux, don't see the use of it since Linux comes with everything that i need, games is a weak point in Linux, then again, only because the developers of the games don't feel the need to make a linux version. To play those games you need to have a legal copy of it for windows, so tell me, where are those developers robbed when you play their game under wine?

Maybe you should offer your services to MS in order to proof that there's stealing involved, i guess MS knows the facts, you only assume that what you're thinking are facts.

It didn't steal codes. Wine is "Wine Is Not an Emulator". It is an applications compatibility layer. It's easy to make this mistake, but to be sure 'W'ine 'I's 'N'ot an 'E'mulator. -- HK |
