Is anyone else suspicious?

When Microsoft gives away a product, isn't the objective to destroy
competitors?

What will they do after those competitors are eliminated?

What say you?

I would say that if Microsoft were to charge for the program, then it
would be an obvious conflict of interest. However, they're *not*
charging for the program. And one has to ask, why wouldn't they want to
do something to protect users of their OS for free? Seems like good
business sense to me.

We can't call MSE a freeware as it requires activation. :)

And to get a successful activation, you need to pay for Window$!


BTW, if I continue from this, then all freeware are not free because
Window$ itself is not free! :)

It doesn't matter to me one way or another if they do. All I know is
that in the past, the service was mainly used by trolls and forgers.

They do have this rule though:

"Posting via a proxy to try and hide = account termination"

OTOH, "NOTE TO ATT.NET USERS: att.net blocks all mail from
(usenet4all.se)" Gee, I wonder why they would do that? ;0)>
