Isn't that one of the versions of VirtualBox that comes packaged with
openSUSE 11.2 too?

Then it's on the list already.

So here's the whole list:
openSUSE or SLES/SLED
with
Xen or VirtualBox

I'm installing SLED as we speak.
I'll see if I can do LAMP within the contract.

If so I'll try Xen.

I'm downloading SLE 11 SDK now.
It seems to be two DVD:s.

Forgive my ignorance about this corporate product but do I get this right:

I download those, make them software repos and install the LAMP stuff.

They will later be updated by normal online update like zypper up?

So they are included in the SLED account?

Hi
Just need the first one, the second is the source(unless you want that
as well ;) ). In YaST, use the 'add on product' pointing to the iso
(repo) and it will add the update repositories for the SDK eg;

nu_novell_com:SLED11-Updates
nu_novell_com:SLE11-SDK-Updates

Yes, the zypper command will pull in the relevant updates from the
standard update or the SDK update as required, eg;
