Both I.E. and Chrome have to be configured for this its so old, and Firefox refuses to even connect to My3 because of this. Then there was My3 being down for much of the time I needed to access it. But then even accessing My3 doesn't tell you how much you've got left out of an allowance. All you get is "You haven't exceeded your data allowance" or something like that. Because I ran out of dongle allowance with the extra charge or £8 I used an S2 with 3Pay PAYG allowance (150Mb) and a 50p a day Internet Add-on. But My3 refused to tell me what I had left on both allowances and I inadvertantly used up both until I started to see my top-up credit disappearing at a fast rate of 30p/Mb. CJB.

Just tried it and it works - but I hadn't come across that feature in any of the literature supplied with the phone. The nearest I can find is a list of useful numbers on the back of the "Getting Started" booklet, which has "Pay As You Go top-up 444" - but no hint that it also gives you a detailed balance breakdown spoken by a synthesised voice. -- Cheers, Roger ______ Email address maintained for newsgroup use only, and not regularly monitored.. You seem to know more about Three's services than Three themselves, and also seem to be answering the same questions over and over. -- <http://ale.cx/> (AIM:troffasky) (UnSoEsNpEaTm(a)ale.cx) 19:28:26 up 45 days, 23:25, 5 users, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.02 DIMENSION-CONTROLLING FORT DOH HAS NOW BEEN DEMOLISHED, AND TIME STARTED FLOWING REVERSELY |
