From: jm on 5 Jan 2010 08:23 Is it just me (or my ISP)? I don't seem able to log in to My 3 https://my3.three.co.uk/myaccount at all. Just get a blank page (after a long wait).

I get this: My3 isn't available at the moment because we're making improvements to the service. You won't be able to access it on your PC but it'll be back up and running soon. Please try again later...

Please try again later... So do I, now. Funny way to run a business. I always thought the idea was you tested changes offline so customers didn't suffer an interruption of service. It's probably PR-speak for "Eek, the server has crashed and the IT guys are running round like headless chickens trying to fix it."

Yup - My3 / My3 Account is down - just when I need to check my mobile Internet balance. I woner what improvements they are making. Whewn I was involved in a major online booking system for an airline changes were always checked out on a test system first. Seems like Three doesn't know the fundamentals of web site design and support. This is an issue that could well be raised on news:comp.risks Mind you they'll need a major upgrade to implement the SSL 2.0+ / TLS 1.0+ security layers. Three's My3 only uses SSL 1.0 which most modern browsers are not configured by default to use because it is so old, and even TLS 1.0 has now been found to have a security weakness. Both I.E. and Chrome have to be reconfigured for SSL 1.0. And Firefox refuses to connect to My3 at all. May be that what Three are doing!!! CJB. |
