From: Jim on 10 May 2010 06:04 On O2 it's going to be like this: 2UKP gets you one day's data, up to 500MB. 30 days (up to 1GB) is 10UKP 30 days (up to 3GB) is 15UKP The 30 day plans are rolling contracts, but you can cancel on the iPad itself a day before it's due to renew. <http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2010/05/10/o2_vodafone_ipad_mobile_ broadband_deals/> These strike me as being quite good. 15quid for 3GB over a month would suit me down to the ground on holiday. Yes, it seems reasonable to me too. Basically use it on Wifi all the time and then a few quid when you know you're going out of reach of any wifi. Holiday's a good example. -- Chris

Forgot to mention that. Mind you, my experience with BTOpenZone is that only about 50% of them let me connect. Never had a problem with a Cloud hotspot. If that is correct, what sort of info do you need to be able to make use of such and how do you apply it in practice? I ask because Dad has BTBB and has no use for the Hotspot thing so if there is an 'allowance' going unused it seems a shame (even if it continues to be unused) and it would be nice to know how-to etc? I've no idea, sorry. With the iPhone it gets linked to your phone number. I imagine it's similar for the BTBB deal but I've no way of knowing.
