It's just propagation weirdness. A server down temporarily betwixt here
and there. Humungous.

Has he done bad things? If he was in my kf, my filters would need to be
a bit sophisticated than I have them to let some of his through but not
others. I think? Bloody nuisance anyway because Warren has given some
decent enough advice in the posts I can't see in my newsreader.

It makes me wonder if I am missing any other pearls of wisdom from
others.

Anyway, on this video problem someone in America kindly converted it
(Windows user) and I was able to load it up fine. But I need to get some
very specific advice on what to purchase to do it myself on a Mac. I
need to keep an eye out on the fact that I still work on Tiger on a
Powermac but would like any facilities to be able to work on my new
Macbook. I want basic video editing that can handle lots and lots of
formats and convert and compress. I want the equivalent of Photoshop or
Fireworks but for moving pictures and not too expensive because it is a
minor part of my business. I would be appreciative of any experiences
any of you have had in this matter.

I don't mean to be horrible but I am just not interested in anything
anyone has not actually got themselves, used and knows about - hands on.

What is going on here? Why is there all this angst? Why is everyone
being so horrible? What have I ever done to you for you to suddenly
trump up all this stuff? Why do you repeat such awful thoughts by Oates
and somehow try to goad me into something I have absolutely no interest
in? Have you gone completely out of your mind? If you have problems with
Oates, take it up or not with him, not me please.

Unfortunately the above URL states "Intel / Mac OS X 10.5" against
ffmpeg.

Thanks for your info Paul.

It is emerging that you and others are getting some of Warren's posts on
your news server that I am not getting. The notice I get when trying to
open all references in my MT is that some of the referenced articles
cannot be fetched "because they do no exist on the news server". So,
what gives with this? Is my albasani server at fault?
