See if there are other posts from Astraweb that aren't appearing on your
server (I'm not sure who else use them, Mezei maybe). If there's a
problem with Astraweb's propagation, I can alert them to it.

This is the last post to appear (with your frank words to Jolly
Roger). Your last to be piped to Google Groups said:

I'd have to research this one. It is all very uncertain this
usenet business. I am getting worried.

All the posts alt.html in one thread today, for example, are
missing at Google, save for the original post. I worry because it
is a serious business if I do not appear *everywhere* at the same
time on earth.

And it is worrying because some of my favourite irreverent folk
like yourself and/or some knowledgeable people are not appearing
in my MT.

Usenet's always been a bit of a crapshoot. I'd use Google groups, which
seems to pick up everything, and is free, if it weren't so ugly.

Maybe god's canceling my posts; maybe Howard Knight is. I doubt it
though.

Well, it spectacularly did not in the case that I mention?

This post of your appears in my MT. Try to remember what you did
and just do it every time you post. You know, stir the broth with
the frog legs three times per minute ...

Are you seriously saying that Oates is one of your favorite people?
Your idea of the material JR quoted from him is just "irreverent"?
