i didn't fly off the handle at all. i simply challenged your claim that
you can buy an equivalent laptop for less money. you failed the
challenge.

Yeah, Hawk. Pay no attention to the high-pitched whine. It's simply
auditory overhead.

It has been blessed by our god, Steve Jobs. You don't have that in the
PC world. And because it has been blessed, whenever you open the laptop,
there is a Church of Apple logo that lights up to confirm your religious
affiliation to everyone around you.

And Steve Jobs also blesses all the money we give him.

When you buy a PC, Bill Gates doesn't even care and isn't thankful for
individuals sending him money.

This is the type of answer you expect, right ?

They're way overpriced.

It depends. For me, this sys looks like being the answer to prayers. I
carry a lot of training material that's been printed out. A laptop is
too big for me and a phone/Ipod Touch etc too small. The iPad is likely
to be very useful for me and I am probably going to have one as soon as
the 3G versions are available here. For me, the price seems about right
for what I'd be getting.

And NO, I am NOT an apple fan-boi.
