Superduper has something like 'you are still connected to the server, do you want to disconnect?'. On this one, there seems no pref to avoid such a warning. I have yet to want to shut the machine down without wanting to disconnect from the server. At the very least, if I wanted to shutdown, I am almost certainly wanting to disconnect from the server if something is not in the process of being uploaded or downloaded. I think you will agree, a few more smarts could be built in to all this, these machines need to understand us better. They seem so... so... autistic! <g> -- dorayme

Could you please elaborate? Holding down said key after initiating a restart allows one to choose drives. What does it do selecting it before restart? What are the dangers? -- john mcwilliams
