It's not his "celeb status" that makes him such a good "pundit" in the field, it's that he's a real interested amateur. You can believe a lot of what he says about smartphones, for instance, because he owns and uses maybe 20 different ones, from HTC to Nokia to Motorola to Apple. It's not just his Apple fanboi bias coming through, but his appreciation of technology and gadgets in general and real world comparison of the different products. -- Pd

He sonds rather smug and perhaps i'm interpreting his tone wrongly. I'm guessing. Not so convinced on it being normal to have 20 phones though.
