Generally though, it's a lot to keep up with and in many ways a waste of money.

Give it a few months and intelligent comment might be possible. But one thing I noticed during the time I scribbled for a living: pretty much all the firms that make a living by selling fortune telling services do so the way that the old sideshow `gypsy' fortune tellers did it: by telling the paying customer what they wanted to hear. Professional pundits are - almost all of them - charlatans. A few, a /very/ few, are honest. I suppose Stephen Fry's one of them - but still, are his views really worth paying attention to in this case, at this time? <shrug> I have other worries.
