Aye, could be. Body language and all.

[laugh] well, he's a tech adict and he can afford it, so where's the harm?
Actually it's a good thing - he buys stuff so I don't have to :-)

That's one way to view it I suppose. Generally though, it's a lot to
keep up with and in many ways a waste of money.

A lot of people I work with change their phones disturbingly often.
And now, having more phones than you makes someone an arsehole??
I own 12 guitars, I dread to think what that makes me!

Christ - did I say he should justify anything?

But nobody knows anything significant about the bloody gadgets yet!

<sigh> Technical reviews - yes. Punditry - no.

Give it a few months and intelligent comment might be possible.

But one thing I noticed during the time I scribbled for a living: pretty
much all the firms that make a living by selling fortune telling
services do so the way that the old sideshow `gypsy' fortune tellers did
it: by telling the paying customer what they wanted to hear.

Professional pundits are - almost all of them - charlatans.

A few, a /very/ few, are honest. I suppose Stephen Fry's one of them -
but still, are his views really worth paying attention to in this case,
at this time? <shrug>

I have other worries.

Rowland.
