Logout If I logout, change windows managers and log back in it won't come up all the way. If I log out again and go back to the original WM it won't come back up all the way either. No icons or desktop, just a background. I have to reboot to get it back up. This is nuts. ... 6 Feb 2010 10:44
11.1 w/kde3 booted into kde4 A new install on a new disk - 11.1 with kde3 selected, and a couple of kde4 things added (kate, sysmonitor). It went through a few reboots always with kde3 and then went to kde4. Strange because most of kde4 was not installed, even as support for those few kde4 utilities (kate/kde4). Background Why is gconftool-2, zypper and applydeltarpm running in the background without my knowledge or consent? It's like some update was happening. Mouse Click confusion Strange..... When booting up my KDE4.3.4 my right mouse click ends up being unusable. Either nothing happens, or another application is initiated. kde4 panel droplists I've found 2 ways: one is the Quick-Access widget which can be set to handle a folder. It acts somewhat like a kickoff-style menu, one page at a time. the other is to drag a folder to the panel and select either as folder-view or just icon. Locked Out of KDE (OpenSuse 11.1) Hi KDM is not allowing me to log in to my desktop. I can log in as root to both KDE and the console and I can login as myself at the console, but not through KDM.
