Apple might frown about it, but since both the UK and Italy are in the
EC/common market that's presumably perfectly legit?

I'm fairly sure it's legit on a sort of legaly tradingy sort of level,
but I just don't have a good feeling about it.

God these calls to retentions teams are tedious - the 'personal touch',
the off-topic anecdotes, the telling you that you're a good customer
because you haven't screamed at anyone, etc.

I am not surprised people scream when they just want their PAC code and
get a mouthful of stuff about why 'You're not rude like all the other
people in North London. My sister fell onto a tube line and no one
helped her, and that was the final straw and that is why she works in
Jordan now and warzones, and that's why I moved out of London yada yada
yada....'

Is that all part of their training now? I wonder if they have a pool of
anecdotes designed to generate rapport. Do they try to match your pitch
and timbre?

I think it is common to be told that you're talking to a fellow Mac user.

I didn't get as far as declaring my Mac membership.

I am steeling myself for another call later to get my PAC code. Don't
like this chitter chatter thing.
