Better yet, put little hitches on the cable cars where for a fee, you
can get a tow up the hill(s). That moves the pollution to the power plant. ;-)

When I moved to So. Cal this last time, everybody recommended I get an
apartment "on the hill" in San Pedro. It took me three times going up
the hill to figure out why I didn't want to live on the hill - I want
my brakes and CV joints to last more than 3000 miles! ;-)
