The (now deceased) VisualHub is excellent for this (I just used it again last night to convert 5 TV episodes from .avi to .mp4 & add them to iTunes all in one go). Hawkeye will also do the job but is payware and severely limits the options available for conversion.

My version is 0.9.1 so perhaps I need to update :-)

Ive just downloaded Perian but Handbrake still won't do it. I thought Quicktime would have done it as it played in Quicktime but when I went to export it still came up with the Flip4Mac message and put the watermark on. Lynn
