Just downloaded Handbrake 0.9.4 and that's done the job nicely. Thanks for
your help. I'm perhaps thinking that I won't need Flip4Mac anymore?

I'm puzzled. I've got Flip4Mac (free version), Perian and Handbrake and
they all seem to work fine for me (on Leopard). No watermarks. I don't
have QTP.

That would be an ecumenical question. I've got it and have updated it,
but I'm not sure if I *need* it.

I have now got it on the iPhone with no watermark by doing it through
Handbrake. I bet Flip4Mac is my default player for WMV files showing
through Quicktime so that must be why it's doing it. I'll have a look at
the Preferences for Flip4Mac

So much for that when I double click the WMV icon it doesn't actually open
so can't get to the preferences. Might just delete it anyway I can always
get it again. It actually plays through Quicktime anyway and it seems
Perian will facilitate that anyway.
