Repair WMV AVI ?
Howard <Howard.not(a)home.com> wrote: Hi all, I am wondering if there is a shareware app for repairing these formats on the Mac ? I have a number of them that won't play anymore for some crazy reason. The normal reason is that you don't have the codec, which isn't really that crazy! Unfortunately... 12 Mar 2010 01:47
Activate a friends iPhone on my Mac?
Friend has just got a contract iPhone 3GS with Orange. It needs to be activated. She has an aged G3 iBook, which I have just finished updating with the latest Safari and iTunes. KeyChain/iChat weirdness
I just did a full restore from a time-machine backup after replacing my laptop disk which had started being flakey. All seems fine except that iChat keeps asking me for my AOL login password each time it starts. It seems that it is just ignoring the keychain all together (for both reading and writing). I have co... 6 Mar 2010 16:18
Printing onto a DVD/CD label
My Canon printer can print directly onto a CD or DVD. The disk is placed in a tray, which is then fed into the printer. When the printer is selected, a page size - CD-R tray F, 13.10x24.25cm - is available. That corresponds to the size of the tray, but obviously I also need something to allow the image to be arra... 9 Mar 2010 04:34
